The Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) this week that will enable the tribal government to establish the state’s first-ever tribal veteran service office.
Salem, OR—Governor Kate Brown today announced the appointment of Kelly Fitzpatrick as the director of the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs (ODVA), effective September 4, 2018.
The next meeting of the Advisory Committee to the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Umpqua Community College, 1140 Umpqua College Road, in Roseburg. The public is invited to attend and participate.
The state’s largest veteran resource event will be held in southern Oregon this month, when the Veteran Benefit Expo kicks off at 9 a.m. July 28 at the Medford Armory.
