A recent VA study points to a possible breakthrough in differentiating between post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), otherwise known as a concussion.

VA launched the Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry in June 2014 to better understand the long-term health effects of exposure to burn pits and other airborne hazards during deployment. The number of new participants in this registry is climbing steadily, and will soon reach the milestone of 100,000 participants. MyVA: Putting Veterans First by simplifying the online experience through Vets.gov

Through Vets.gov, Veterans can discover, apply for, track, and manage their VA benefits easily — as it should be. Soon, Veterans will no longer have to navigate multiple VA websites and use multiple logins to access their health care and benefits information.

Vets.gov is simplifying the benefits process for Veterans — cutting the time it takes to enroll in health care in half — to just 24 minutes.
