Women’s Military History Week: IANI Exhibit at Pacific University
The Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs, in partnership with Pacific University and Washington County, Oregon, invites the public to participate in Women’s Military History Week from March 16-22, 2025, at Pacific University’s Forest Grove Campus.
The week’s events will feature a social and panel discussion titled “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations”, taking place on March 22 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Pacific University Center. This discussion will bring together women veterans to share their experiences, insights, and perspectives on education, mentorship, and leadership. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue and connect with others in the community. Light refreshments will be provided.
Throughout the week, ODVA’s “I Am Not Invisible” and Uniform Exhibit will be on display, highlighting the contributions and impact of women in the military. This powerful exhibit seeks to increase awareness and recognition of the more than 28,000 women veterans in Oregon and their vital role in our nation’s history.
