A new exhibit honoring the 37-year military service of four-star U.S. Air Force General Merril A. “Tony” McPeak opened over the weekend at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinnville. The exhibit honors McPeak, a Lake Oswego resident and Orfegon native, who served as a fighter pilot in the Vietnam War and Air Force Chief of Staff from 1990 to 1994 when he advised both Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
