Woodburn resident Albert Wellman, 93, was one of 25 World War II veterans from Oregon honored with a four-day trip to visit the National World War II Memorial and 10 other memorials in the District of Columbia earlier this month. The trip was organized and funded by the nonprofit Honor Flight of Oregon.
