Local veterans looking for a job can meet with representatives from two dozen businesses who are hiring during the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County’s annual job fair.
The free event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Vets Memorial Building, 1626 Willamette St.
Job-seeking veterans can meet with employers from Weyerhaueser, Home Depot, The Galt Foundation, the Eugene Water & Electric Board, Lane County, St. Vincent de Paul, Insight, Mountain Rose Herbs, Minute Man Cleaning Services, Brothers Cleaning, Tradesmen International, Attune Foods, Alvord Taylor, the Oregon Supported Living Program, Crowd Management Services, First Call Resolution, the Oregon Department of Human Services, Strapworks, Parr Lumber, Glory Bee and the Eugene VA Healthcare Center.
