The Wasco County Veterans Service Office is hosting a “Suicide Alternatives Event” on Saturday the 29th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Veterans Service Office parking lot, 201 Federal St., The Dalles. The event focuses on veterans, their families and friends, but is open to anyone concerned about suicide prevention.
