Wreaths Across America Set to Showcase Mobile Education Exhibit Across State of Oregon

Wreaths Across America (WAA), a non-profit organization best known for coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at national veteran cemeteries every December, will be showcasing a Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE) across the state of Oregon for the first time ever throughout the month of August. The goal of the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit is to bring local communities and our military together with education, stories and interactive connections.

Thirteen WAA Mobile Education Exhibits will be hosted in Oregon by a variety of Oregon service organizations which include Daughters of the American Revolution, the VFW, Military Honors by the Pipes and Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Civil Air Patrol, and Eagle Scouts at in the following communities:

  • August 9: Hood River
  • August 12: Bend
  • August 14: Wilsonville
  • August 15: St. Paul
  • August 19: Tigard
  • August 20: Gresham
  • August 21: Oregon City
  • August 23: Albany
  • August 24: Springfield
  • August 25: Medford
  • August 26: Roseburg
  • August 27: Florence
  • August 30: Gold Beach
