JOHN DAY – The 13th Annual Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch Motorcycle Ride begins on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Eugene.  According to a release provided by the John Day Elks, on Sunday, July 10, 2022, the Tribute Ride and the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Flame is scheduled to make a visit and lunch stop in John Day. The riders officially requested the John Day Fire Department participate in the arrival of the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Flame by hanging and displaying an American Flag. The ceremony will begin at 11am on Sunday the 10th at the John Day Elks Lodge.

The 13th Annual Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch Motorcycle Ride officially begins on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Eugene, Oregon.    

This is our annual ( cross-country ) motorcycle ride in which we escort the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Flame from Eugene, Oregon to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC to honor and pay tribute to America’s fallen service members.   This summer’s tribute ride will be traveling through ( 18 ) different states and making a total of ( 68 ) Fallen Soldier Home Visits.

GREETING THE FALLEN SOLDIERS MEMORIAL FLAME

On Sunday, July 10, 2022, the Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch Motorcycle Ride and the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Flame is scheduled to make a Fallen Soldiers Honor Visit and lunch stop in John Day, Oregon.

Tribute to Fallen Soldiers would like to officially request the John Day Fire Department participate in the arrival of the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Flame by hanging and displaying an American Flag to recognize the significance of the Memorial Flame and America’s fallen service members.
