A Bend woman is one of 27 veterans nominated for 2021 Trailblazers by the VA’s Center for Women Veteran’s. Kristin Gyford of Bend was chosen as part of the Women Veterans Leading the Way campaign. CWV sponsors an annual campaign in honor of Women’s History Month and throughout the year celebrates the contributions of these trailblazers and women Veterans, representing all military branches, during and after their military service.
