A parade of loved ones and well-wishers passed by a local World War II veteran who celebrated his 100th birthday Saturday, June 20.
Francisco Villavicencio, 100, was surrounded by his children, grandchildren and neighbors as he took in a surprise parade for his milestone birthday. There was a bagpipe player, who stopped to play the birthday song, as well as a long line of police cars and friends honking their horns for Villavicencio.
