When Morris Portin was born, Woodrow Wilson was president and everyone who knew their onions was cutting a rug to Ben Selvin’s Orchestra’s hit “Dardanella.”
Portin recently celebrated his 100th birthday in Gresham with family and friends, some coming from as far away as Connecticut and Rhode Island.
