March is Women’s History Month, and in recognition of our female heroes Katee Hoffman, our Grant County Veteran’s Service Officer came in the studio for a visit. She said Oregon is pretty progressive when it concerns veterans:
“Our ODVA recognizes women veterans. They’re doing Women’s History Week. Oregon does that every third week in March.
There’s going to be an [event] in Boardman, where it’s a salute to women’s history. It’s open and free to the public.”
The Grant County Veteran’s Service office is open from 10am until 4pm every weekday.
