If you’re looking to give back this holiday season, we offer several meaningful opportunities to show support for our Veterans. If you’re a job-seeker interested in VHA, volunteering is a great way to get involved and get familiar with our organization. We currently have an amazing team of volunteers who work together to show our Veterans just how much we appreciate their service. With several ways to participate, there are plenty of ways to get involved and give back.

Current Students: If you’re a student, join our Student Volunteer Program and receive invaluable experience for college and job applications. You’ll even be eligible for The James H. Parke Memorial Youth Scholarship Award.

Organizations: If you’re already in the workforce, you can participate in our Company-Sponsored Volunteer Program. We’ll tailor programs for your company, so existing skills can be put to use in rewarding ways.

Specialized Volunteering: There are even more ways to help America’s Veterans and give back to the community:

Homeless Outreach: If you’d like to help homeless Veterans live as independently as possible, you might be interested in volunteering with our VA Homeless Veterans Program. Cemetery Administration: Our VA National Cemetery Administration honors veterans with final resting places that commemorate their service to our nation. Transportation to VHA: The Volunteer Transportation Network provides transportation for Veterans seeking treatment from a VA facility.  Welcome Home: The VA Welcome Home Celebrations initiative sponsors events around the country for returning military service members and their families.
