NORTH BEND — The eighth annual South Coast Veterans’ Stand Down will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Southwest Oregon Regional Airport, 1100 Airport Lane, North Bend.
Veterans will learn about benefits, medical and dental services, housing, counseling, employment, credit counseling, pet care, business development services, and receive military surplus clothing and equipment. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Free haircuts and free pet grooming will be available.
