The POW/MIA flag, which honors prisoners of war and those who went missing in action, will now fly on a daily basis over Clackamas County’s Red Soils campus in Oregon City. The Clackamas County Commissioners approved the move Tuesday. Previously, the flag was only flown on certain holidays: Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, National POW/MIA Recognition Day, and Veterans Day.
