MEDFORD, Ore. – A sign was unveiled at the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Medford today.

Veterans gathered to celebrate the progress of the memorial at U.S. Cellular Park.

The event was hosted by the Southern Oregon Veteran’s Benefit. Ron Kohl, who is the president of SOVB, says they plan to have all funding by May.

“We have corporations that we are going to be reaching out to. Some of them have already told us when we have property to contact them and when we have our foundation in place,” Kohl said.

He says the wall costs $300,000 and if all goes as planned the wall will be built by Veteran’s Day 2017.
