Oregon’s Air National Guard will salute local health care providers with a Friday morning, May 8, flyover by F-15 Eagle fighter jets.

Oregon’s 142nd Wing in Portland will do the flyover in the northern Willamette Valley.

“This is a joint effort to demonstrate support and give thanks to health care workers, first responders, and other essential workers on the frontline of the COVID-19 response; the goal is to unite all Oregonians during this time,” said Stephen Bomar, director of Public Affairs for the Oregon Military Department.
