Reaching out to our veterans…

Bright Horizons Therapeutic Riding Center has been awarded two grants specifically to pay the program fees for Veterans. One grant is through Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) and the other is through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH). These grants can also include a Veteran’s care giver and/or family members to participate with them. Bright Horizons offers a variety of Equine Assisted Activites and Therapies (EAAT). We focus on targeting an individual’s life goals, which may include mental health, physical, emotional, or social challenges a Veteran and/or their family member is experiencing. No previous horse experience is required to participate in the program, and there are no costs for participants in this program thanks to our secured grants.
