Student Veteran Career Conference

Student Veteran Career Conference sponsored by SWA. Date/Time: September 29, 2018 9:00 AM. Location: Washington State Convention Center 705 Pike St, Seattle. Student Veteran Career Conferences will occur in 7 cities during September and October, 2018. The schedule for each fair is, unless otherwise specified:
9:00 – 11:00 am – Information sessions related to preparing to secure post-college employment

11:00 am – 3:00 pm – Career Fair: All students interested in connecting with participating employers, whether through the database only or in person at a career fair, are asked to create a profile and upload a resume for virtual consideration, no matter where in the world you are stationed. Approximately 30 days prior to an event we will add links on this page where you can see the list of participating employers attending each specific event. The list of participating employers will continue to grow up until a week before the event occurs, so check back frequently.

If you plan to attend a career fair in person:

• Create a profile in the Student Veteran Career Conference database
• Read the Student FAQ’s for advice on what to wear
• Bring at least 10 copies of your resume with you
• Plan to spend enough time to attend information sessions and to spend at least 15-20 minutes speaking with each attending employer.
