Fly Fishing School for Disabled Veterans

Fly Fishing School for Disabled Veterans sponsored by Source One Serenity. Date/Time: July 9, 2018 1:00 PM. Location: Lemolo Lake Resort 3233 NE Follett St., Idlyld Park. A week-long school will be a complete immersion for beginners into all aspects of fly fishing. This includes conservation efforts, sustainable fishing practices, aquatic insects, hydrology, casting, fly tying, fish species, and fishing the multitude of “little known” public waters within the Umpqua National Forest. The purpose is to empower these veterans with enough knowledge and experience that they may practice this art and implement land stewardship on their own.
