Legacy Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Island City is being saluted for the help it provides to military veterans. Legacy has been presented with a plaque from the Union County Veteran and Active Military Committee honoring it for its early and strong support of a veterans ID card program started by the committee. The program started in the winter of 2016. At its heart, it is an identification card available to all veterans and military personnel. Anyone with the card is eligible for discounts when purchasing items from participating Union County businesses.
