Portland Stand Down sponsored by Transition Projects. Date/Time: September 11, 2017 7:30 AM. Location: Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Portland. Portland’s Stand Down honors and supports Veterans who are either experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. Women and men who have served in the military access essential supportive services, employment and connections to local, state and federal support. This community-led partnership combines local nonprofits, government officials, corporations & businesses to welcome over 400 veterans annually.
