Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs Director Kelly Fitzpatrick invites women veterans, along with other members of the veteran community and the general public, to a reception celebrating women veterans to celebrate and kick-off Women’s Military History Week. The event will include brief remarks, refreshments and displays of women veteran military uniforms by the Uniform Display Museum, as well as the popular I Am Not Invisible poster exhibit. The reception will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, in the first floor lobby of the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs, 700 Summer Street N.E. in Salem.
