Oregon voters recently approved a measure to increase funding for veteran’s services, and the Veterans Administration opened a new facility locally: the VA Eugene Healthcare Center on Chad Drive. As a new group of veterans from wars in the Middle East and Afghanistan transition back to civilian life, they face a different set of challenges. What does this mean for Lane County veterans?
