Patrol and SWAT officers offered curbside turkey dinner deliveries for 15 veterans in need and their families.

Donors and police put the boxes together and the Police Crisis Negotiation Team helped in the kitchen with the Elk Horn Brewery yesterday.

“Really, the best things we have in our lives here in our country are based on opportunities and privileges that were secured and protected by our veterans.” Said Officer Joe Kidd from the Eugene Police Department.

Also pitching in to help, Market of Choice and Metropol Bakery.
