Hundreds of American Flags lined the streets of downtown Bend today, and across Central Oregon veterans and community members gathered in parks, churches and cemeteries to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Central Oregon Daily’s Anyssa Bohanan was in downtown Bend today to speak with citizens and service members to hear what Memorial Day means to them.
