Softball is More Than a Game to Veterans in Southern Oregon Battling PTSD

Loading

CENTRAL POINT — After serving four tours of duty in Iraq between 1999 and 2009, Adam Esposito came back a different person. He has been battling PTSD, something he said he is “100 percent disabled” by. He hasn’t let that stop him from helping other local veterans, though.

Esposito is the president of the Southern Oregon Veteran’s Association and he helped organize this weekend’s softball tournament to benefit local veterans. Softball provides an escape for Esposito and others dealing with PTSD.
